One of the devotional books that God used to speak to me while I was going through my first round of chemotherapy was Jesus Calling by Sarah Young.
This week I have the privilege of sharing a guest post on the Jesus Calling Blog.
A few weeks ago I sat down with Doug Stirling, Bill Mason, and the rest of the crew on Morning Magazine.
Writing The Journey Continues was easy compared to the promotional and publicity piece. I have a small team of people helping me get the word out. I am spending time each day making connections and looking for places where I can talk about the book.
Sitting down with Doug and the crew of Morning Magazine at WCHE was a blast. Our conversation just flowed and pretty soon I forgot I was being interviewed, it felt more like a conversation between friends.
Before I knew it we had talked for over half an hour. It is a wide-ranging interview. We talked everything from U2 to how to feel more comfortable speaking with those who are in the midst of a season of serious illness.
Thank you to everyone who is buying the book, either for themselves or someone who is traveling their own cancer journey.
I am going to ask a favor, or two of you all.
Can you send me a picture of you with the book? We may use it in some of our social media campaign as we seek to get the word out about The Journey Continues.
You can send pictures to firstname.lastname@example.org
If you can spare a few minutes would you mind going to Amazon or Westbow Press and writing a review of the book? Reviews help The Journey Continues show up in online searches and can help increase traffic.
Finally, there is an opportunity to win one of three free copies of the e-book. If you do not mind helping to share this amongst your friends I would greatly appreciate it.
I hope everyone has a truly blessed and enjoyable Christmas season!
